Eric Schmitt

Schmitt (Republican Party) is running for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Missouri. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 8, 2022. He advanced from the Republican primary on August 2, 2022.

He was appointed to the position by Gov. Mike Parson (R) on November 13, 2018, following former Attorney General Josh Hawley‘s (R) election to the U.S. Senate.[1][2] Schmitt took office in January 2019.
